Our Swansea Awareness Project
Raising awareness throughout Swansea
For International Kawasaki Disease Awareness 2025, we are taking on a project to raise awareness of Kawasaki Disease with all GPs, schools and nurseries in the Swansea area.
Our research shows that incidence is higher in this area than in some other areas of the UK and so it is extremely important that GPs and people who care for children in and around Swansea KNOW Kawasaki Disease. Inspired too by super Societi supporter Natalie who is local to Swansea and has done so much herself to raise awareness of Kawasaki Disease, we’re getting to work to get Kawasaki Disease KNOWN in Swansea.
Have a look at our map here. You’ll see where we’ve delivered our GP packs to and which schools and nurseries have received our all important Kawasaki Disease information.

Would you like a project like this to be delivered in your area?
You can see from the map that there is a large amount of work (and funds) involved in undertaking a project like this. We’d LOVE to do this in every single town and city right across the UK and, indeed, we’re working towards that! But, we can do it even faster with your help. Would you like Kawasaki Disease information packs delivered to the GPs, schools and nurseries in your area? Why not fundraise for us? The more you raise the more people we’ll be able to reach in your area! Just get in touch!
