Medicine Sheets
Medicines For Children is a partnership programme of three organisations – WellChild, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacists Group (NPPG). They produce leaflets and videos providing information covering many of the medicines that are prescribed or recommended to children by health professionals. They answer your questions about how and when to give the medicine, what to do if you forget to give the medicine or give it twice, and any possible side-effects.
Societi is currently working with Medicines for Children to produce medicine sheets relevant to parents and families of children with Kawasaki Disease. The medicine sheets – some of which are being created to support our Parent Resource Portal, and others which exist already and are being updated to ensure they include information our parents need, will cover the following medicines:
- Aspirin
- Warfarin
- Prednisolone
- Clexane
- Lansoprazole
As soon as the information sheets are ready they will appear on this page. If you would like us to include additional medicine information sheets, please contact us and we will pass on requests, adding new sheet links in to this page over time.
